We’ve had a lot of people say they have seen #pokemon running around our beach. Come on down to our 29th Ave South Location and look around the kayaks. Also look in front of our concession stand at 32nd ave S for a rumored Seadra has been swimming in the shallows
This is the dude that did our gnarly new art:
Drew Brophy Grew up in Myrtle Beach and, as the legend goes, worked at our very stretch of beach before moving on to surf big waves and paint in California. Drew is still considered a local here and folks who know him from when he was young say he’s still a Carolina boy even though he’s traveled the world over. Humble yet confident as he rides some of the most gnarly waves on the planet, he embraces the surf lifestyle the way we do at Atlantic Watersports. He’s famous as a surf artist and his work has adorned boards, clothes, ads and buildings the world over. But really he’s a dude that loves to surf. He started his art career in Myrtle as a kid who did some work for Native Sons, then realized that he could fund his desire to surf the world with his art.
Click the pic to see more of his artwork (you might spend a couple hours browsing his awesome art)and find out more about a dude that lives the dream.
You can get his artwork on our Tee Shirts and even see one of his murals at Lulu’s Cafe in Myrtle Beach while you’re here.
